Highest Offers to Sellers

Sellers advertising on our network of websites have been receiving offers from interested parties for 20+ years. Below are some of the highest offers we’ve ever received historically on our platform for these former Starwood timeshare properties:

Harborside Resort at Atlantis

An offer of $52,000 was made to purchase this timeshare. This is one of the most popular resorts in the network. It is located on Paradise Island in the Bahamas near the famed Atlantis Resort, which is an aquatic wonderland of fun. Because the island itself can get crowded, guests love the quiet Harborside pool. If you’re looking for something a bit more active, the waterpark and lazy river might be more your style.

Sheraton Lakeside Terrace Villas at Mountain Vista

An offer of $20,340 was once made to purchase this timeshare. Located in Avon, Colorado at the heart of Beaver Creek, this is the perfect ski resort getaway. Rooms are spacious and the views of the mountain are incredible.

Westin St. John

An offer of $36,000 was once made to purchase this timeshare. Located on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, this beachfront resort is one of the most popular destinations. Aside from its beauty, guests love this upscale resort for its friendly service, comfy beds and breathtaking views.

Can StarOptions be transferred on the resale market?

It depends on the resort that the timeshare is originally deeded to. If you own timeshare at any of the following resorts, StarOptions will transfer to the new timeshare owner:

This means the new owner will be able to travel to any of the resorts within the Vistana network. If you own timeshare at any other Vistana timeshare location, your StarOptions will not transfer to the new owner. In this case, the new owner will be required to stay at only the resort you originally purchased timeshare at. Owners at resorts not mentioned above would need to purchase additional timeshare from Vistana in order to access the StarOptions program.

Starwood Timeshare FAQ

What are Starpoints?

These points operate like any other loyalty hotel program. They can be used toward a stay at any of the 1,100 hotels and resorts in nearly 100 countries in the Starwood Hotel Network. They may also be used toward plane tickets, room upgrades and more.

What are StarOptions?

StarOptions is the “Vacation Ownership Interest” with Vistana. Many owners refer to these as points even though they are technically not points. You use StarOptions to reserve a stay at the former Starwood timeshare resorts.

May I include my banked points from previous years in my advertisement?

No, banked points from previous years can’t be sold on the resale market.

Will the new owner be able to convert their resale timeshare into StarPoints?

No. Because StarPoints are essentially hotel loyalty points, a timeshare resale week cannot be converted into StarPoints. This is one of the primary differences of a resale timeshare from a timeshare purchased directly from the developer.
