The units offer three styles. Some have two-bedrooms and two-bathrooms, some two-bedrooms and one-bathroom, others one-bedroom with a loft rather than two separate bedrooms. The open-plan living areas have a combined living and dining area with a full kitchen. Every unit has a balcony or deck.
On-site, there is an indoor pool and large hot tub as well as a seasonal outdoor pool. Guests will enjoy the clubhouse, fitness center and game room. The activities director arranges several weekly events ranging from Southern-style breakfast get-togethers to evening bingo. The whole family can join the crafting classes, enter the coloring and trivia contests, and kids just love the guess-the-candy competitions. There are many opportunities for outside enjoyment. Down by the river, guests will find a children’s playground, a pavilion for picnics and cookouts, horseshoes, shuffleboard and tennis, and a basketball court.
Off-site, guests will find that Helen, the Georgia mountains and the ‘Hooch’ offer everything to fill their vacation time. Trout fishing and tubing are very popular. Helen has its own water park, a petting farm, a museum and lots of stores selling antiques. Guests can reserve their places on winery tours and outlet tours, or they can reserve tee times for a round of golf. The activities director will also arrange complete golf packages. The mountains offer hiking and biking trails, and a trip to the Dahonga Gold Mine is a must. Learn about the old mining days and try your hand panning for gold.
