Beautiful Guest Suites and Condos

The Chetola Lodge offers 42 one-bedroom suites that are furnished with either a king-size or two queen-size beds. The suites can accommodate up to four people. The standard guest rooms are equipped with a microwave and wet bar, and the Deluxe Lakeview rooms have a private balcony. Some of the Deluxe Lakeview rooms have both a king bed and a queen-size pull-out sofa. The Bob Timberlake Inn features the Hillside Suite, a large guest quarter with two queen beds, 2 baths, and separate dining room, and the Lakeview Crown Suite that features a king bed and sleeper sofa, dining room, luxury bath, and whirlpool tub. Visitors can also choose to stay at the condominium complex that contains one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom configurations, some with kitchens, lofts, and separate den.

Activities and Entertainment

Every summer, this region of North Carolina is home to some of the nation's best-known summer music festivals. An Appalachian Summer, the most popular of these festivals, runs through the summer into early September. Dining At The Resort

Timberlake's Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Specialties include shrimp, duck, quail, and steak, and the chefs use locally grown produce for all the salad dishes. There are three separate dining rooms, one of them is located on a lakefront patio.
